Job summary

The Wiese Group in Muncie, IN is seeking a Service Technician to repair customer material handling equipment. You will act as the primary contact and represent the company professionally while delivering outstanding mechanical service and customer support.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, following safety policies, handling paperwork, and promoting additional Wiese services. The role requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to perform physically demanding

Qualifications

Perform hazard assessments and uphold high safety standards.
Demonstrate multitasking and effective time management.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and crawl or crouch; comfortable with heights over 15 feet.

Responsibilities

Actively support, promote and lead safety initiatives. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Work safe at all times and report any unsafe work or work environments to management.
Troubleshooting customer equipment problems. Confer with and obtain approval from the customer before making repairs
Completing and submitting all required paperwork.
Providing the best possible customer service, including offering additional Wiese services, added-value items and equipment based on potential customer needs
