Job summary

gpac is seeking a Field Service Technician / Advisor to support installations, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and train client personnel on site.

You will travel 3-5 days domestically and, on rare occasions, international assignments up to 4-6 weeks, ensuring accurate field reports and timely expense documentation while maintaining 40-hour pay weeks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Machinist, Millwright, or Industrial Service Technician.
• Strong mechanical intuition and ability to read blueprints.
• Willingness to travel domestically (3–5 days) and internationally (up to 4–6 weeks).

What You Will Do

• Commission & Optimize: Set up and commission brand-new, high-value industrial machinery at client sites.
• Troubleshoot & Diagnose: Identify mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on-site and execute precise corrective actions.
• Train & Supervise: Occasionally lead and train client personnel-ranging from floor laborers to corporate executives-on equipment operation.
• Document & Report: Maintain accurate Field Service Reports for client invoicing and managing timely expense reports.
