gpac is seeking a Field Service Technician to service high-value industrial equipment in the field for customers worldwide. This full-time role involves significant travel and hands-on problem solving across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

The position requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, strong reading of blueprints, and the ability to train customer personnel while documenting field work in detailed reports. Travel ~75% of the time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Machinist, Millwright, Industrial Service Technician, or similar.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated technical problem-solving ability.
• Excellent blueprint and technical drawing reading skills.
• Practical experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time and obtain/maintain a valid passport.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, commission, and optimize new, high-value industrial machinery at customer facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in the field.
• Identify root causes of equipment issues and execute corrective actions.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and related technical documentation.
• Work with customer personnel to ensure safe, reliable operation per specifications.
• Train and instruct customer personnel on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Complete accurate Field Service Reports documenting work performed, conditions, findings, and recommendations.
• Travel approximately 75% of the time, typically 3–5 days at a time.

About the Role

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to serve as the face of our organization in the field, working directly with advanced, high-value capital equipment used by customers around the world.This industrial machinery company manufactures a wide spectrum of mixers, dryers, extruders, compounders, kneaders, reaction vessels, and centrifugal separation equipment for large or small scale manufacturing applications.

This is a hands‑on position for a mechanically minded problem solver who enjoys variety, learns quickly, and isn't afraid to get in the field and figure things out. What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience as a Mechanical Machinist, Millwright, Industrial Service Technician, or similar role.
