Job Description Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Level 2 Field Service Technician in Raleigh, NC. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime. Our fleet primarily includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty lines locations may also have large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training preferred
• 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel, heavy construction, or specialty equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas) preferred
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; CDL may be required in some locations

Skills and Abilities:

• Possibly need to provide mechanic’s tools
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual skills (Spanish or others) may be required based on location
