Road Mechanic

Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest-growing rental business in North America, seeks a Road Mechanic. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment such as aerial work platforms, construction tools, large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent preferred
• 3-5 years mechanic experience with diesel, heavy construction, or specialty equipment
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to provide mechanic’s tools of trade
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems troubleshooting
• Flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual skills may be required based on location

Physical Demands

Involves bending, squatting, reaching, lifting 50+ pounds, and working indoors/outdoors.
