Job summary

Veolia LabWater Solutions seeks a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory water purification systems at customer facilities across the assigned territory.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills, and involves travel within the region. You will work with Technical Support, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure timely, high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or another related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant field service experience.
• Minimum of two years of field service experience installing, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems per procedures and specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, calibrations, software updates, and verifications.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment at customer sites.
• Replace defective components and restore equipment to factory specs.
• Complete service reports, calibration docs, expense reports, and admin paperwork on time.
• Generate quotations for billable repairs, PM agreements, and system upgrades.
