Job summary

Grossenburg Implement is seeking a full-time Service Technician in Pierre, SD to diagnose and repair John Deere equipment and related systems. The role includes field service, training trainees, and leading customer clinics, with accountability for time tracking and orderly documentation.

Applicants should have experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in heavy equipment, plus proficiency with diagnostic tools. A valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in service repairs and meeting performance metrics preferred.
• Experience using tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in off-road, construction, or heavy equipment.
• Ability to operate vehicles and diagnostic tools for testing.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Student Technicians.
• Conducts or supports customer clinics.
• Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field as required.
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Responsible for documentation of diagnostics and repairs and timely submittal of information.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment needed to perform duties.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows all safety rules.
