Qualifications

• Experience performing service repairs and meeting performance metrics.
• Ability to perform repairs using Technical Manual procedures.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in off-road/heavy equipment.
• Experience with basic computer functions; Service ADVISOR or similar tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Student Technicians
• Conducts or supports customer clinics
• Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field as required
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders
• Responsible for documentation of diagnostics and repairs on work orders and timely submittal of information
• May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs for skill development
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment needed for duties
• Maintains a clean/work area and orderly workflow
• Follows safety rules and regulations in performing work
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
