Job summary

HIAB USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on forklifts, knuckle boom cranes, loaders, and related equipment at customer sites in Jessup, MD.

The role requires 3+ years in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year DOT Medical Card required.
• 3+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations.
• Own tools required.
• Know and follow Hiab USA Operating and Technical Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot equipment (forklifts, knuckle boom cranes, loaders, liftgates, hooklifts, skiploaders and hoists) per supervisor.
• Follow safety rules and environmental requirements.
• Stay updated with technical bulletins and complete required courses.
• Respond to customer queries and maximize satisfaction.
• Maintain records and submit daily reports.
• Recognize sales opportunities and report to District Service Manager.
• Coach junior colleagues and trainees as needed.
• Represent Hiab brand positively and follow Quality System.
