Hiab USA is seeking a Field Service Technician in Bakersfield, CA to perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and corrective actions on forklifts, knuckle boom cranes, loaders, liftgates and related equipment at customer sites. Travel is 100% and duties include refurbishment and documentation per district guidelines.

The role requires a 1-year DOT Medical Card, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and 5+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations experience, with

Qualifications

• DOT Medical Card required and maintained.
• Valid Driver’s License required with minimal violations.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and troubleshoot forklifts, knuckle booms, loaders, liftgates and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, upgrades and refurbishment per Manager instructions.
• Keep records and submit daily reports per district guidelines.
• Identify sales opportunities and communicate with District Service Manager.
• Coach juniors and trainees when needed.
• Promote Hiab brand and comply with Quality System rules.
