Job summary

HIAB USA in Franklin, Indiana, is seeking a skilled technician to perform maintenance and repair on a range of material handling equipment, including forklifts and cranes. The role requires a valid CDL/driver's license, a DOT medical card, and 3+ years of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical experience.

Qualifications

• DOT Medical Card within 1 year is required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• No more than one moving violation in the last year (or two in two years).
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills required.
• Own tools required.
• Comply with Hiab USA procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and troubleshoot forklifts, knuckle boom cranes, loaders, liftgates and related equipment as directed.
• Follow safety rules and environmental requirements.
• Stay updated with technical bulletins and complete required courses.
• Respond to customer questions to maximize satisfaction.
• Keep accurate records and submit daily reports as instructed.
• Identify sales opportunities and report to District Service Manager.
• Coach junior colleagues as needed.
• Represent Hiab brand professionally and follow Quality System rules.
