Job summary

Ingersoll Rand seeks a Service Technician (West Area) to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all make of air compressors and related systems. The role involves field service across the West Area, precise diagnostics, and following manuals for operations and parts usage.

The position requires 2+ years of mechanical troubleshoot experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to be on-call. Company vehicle and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience troubleshooting industrial/mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• On-call 24/7 during 1-week periods (first 90 days).
• Own a mechanic’s tool set.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on compressed-air equipment.
• Interact with customers to address issues.
• Order and gather required parts with the Service Coordinator.
• Assist and train apprentices and field technicians.
• Provide technical assistance on commissioning, start-ups, installations and repairs of compressed-air systems.
• Educate customers on product maintenance and leak detection.
