Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw, reciprocating, and Centac air compressors and related components at customer sites across multiple locations. The role requires diagnosing equipment issues and guiding customers through solutions.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience with compressed air systems, HVAC/electrical knowledge, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record, plus EPA 608 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years troubleshooting industrial mechanical systems.
• Experience with compressed air systems and dryers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC/Electrical knowledge with basic circuits and motors.
• Valid driver’s license for 12+ months; clean record.
• EPA 608 / F-GAS 303/2008/CE/ISHRAE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose problems and provide corrective actions.
• Train customers and field staff on equipment use.
• Submit detailed service reports and time/expense records.
• Maintain safety and integrity in all service activities.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of installation requirements.
