Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician II to join our Grand Junction team. You will install, maintain, and provide technical support for wireless communications equipment including UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz systems.

Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a customer-focused attitude are essential. The role involves diagnosing problems, repairing equipment, and collaborating on site surveys, FATP, quotes, and schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of service technician experience in 2-way radio/wireless field.
• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent.
• R56 Certification a plus; Journeyman within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and support wireless communications equipment and related systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair radio equipment and related hardware.
• Install DAS/BDA systems and related ancillary hardware.
• Assist in site surveys, FATP, quotes and schedules for installation tasks.
• Travel as required and participate in on-call shifts.
