Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Denver, CO to install and support wireless communications systems. You will create codeplugs, install equipment, and ensure customer satisfaction with reliable technical solutions.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in RF deployment, strong two-way radio knowledge, and proficiency with test gear. Expect regional travel, on-call duties, and comprehensive on-site training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service experience diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing RF equipment.
• Strong knowledge of two-way radio theory and RF propagation across frequency bands.
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints and diagrams.
• Familiarity with test equipment including spectrum analyzers and watt meters.
• MS Office proficiency and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install and service wireless communications equipment (UHF/VHF, 800/900 MHz systems).
• Create mid-level programming codeplugs (12+ channels, trunking, multiple zones).
• Recommend equipment to meet customer requirements.
• Some regional/overnight travel and on-call hours may be required.
