Job summary

Your Impact

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups, including basic troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on‑site maintenance to meet and exceed customer demands.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
• Guide less experienced technicians, providing direction and support.
• Resolve escalated technical and/or customer service‑related problem areas for requested territories.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel as needed.
• Availability to work in a 24/7 environment, including shift work and on‑call rotations.
• Capability to obtain required security and/or other clearances to enter customer premises.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).

Compensation: $21.50 to $30.75 hourly. Eligible for a transportation allowance.
