Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is hiring a Field Service Technician II in Miami Lakes, FL. You will maintain, repair, and upgrade printers, copiers, and related office technology within your territory.

Diagnose issues, perform installations/upgrades, and rebuild components. You will train customers, manage your schedule, and document service activities while following safety policies. A strong electro-mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment, Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge systems, fingerprint equipment, or comparable products
• Relevant education, certifications, or internships in related fields may be considered in lieu of the required experience
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro-mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations
• Provide product training and support to customers
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures
