Job summary

EBARA is seeking a field service technician to service equipment at customer sites or service centers. You will perform routine preventative maintenance, install and start-up heater products, and replace defective parts.

The role requires lifting up to 35 lbs, travel to customer locations, and strict safety compliance. Daily work is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with full-time commitment at assigned sites.

Qualifications

• AA or BS degree in Electronics, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) or more years service experience, preferably in the semiconductor or related industry.
• Working knowledge of mechanical skills.
• Working knowledge of principles of semiconductor and/or vacuum technology.
• Working knowledge of computer systems including MS Office.
• Ability to provide verification of a good driving record when servicing offsite.
• Demonstrated teamwork and strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Services equipment and/or products at customer sites or service centers for maintenance, installations and start-ups.
• Install, track and service heater products; notify customers when replacements are necessary.
• Maintain and replace equipment, tools, and supplies used for service.
• Document preventive maintenance, downtime and report on-site service activities.
• Travel to various customer locations as needed.
• Adhere to EBARA safety policies and participate in required safety training.
