Job summary

EBARA is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician in Sherman, TX to perform client-site service, repair, and installation of EBARA products. This role covers system hardware, software, and networks with a strong focus on safety and documentation.

The candidate will troubleshoot to component level, follow maintenance protocols, and work with customers to ensure timely, quality service. High School or Electronics degree and 4–6 years in semiconductor tech are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or AS/Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of related work experience, preferably in semiconductor field.
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Service equipment and products at customer sites or service center, including maintenance, installations, and start-ups.
• Interpret operation manuals to determine root cause of tool failures.
• Document preventative maintenance, downtime, issues, and reports; use customers’ systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Order and notify customers/management when replacement parts are needed.
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures using checklists and protocols.
• Follow EBARA safety policies and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per EBARA and customer policies.
