Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures and service Canon equipment to standard specifications.

This customer-facing role requires a HS diploma, willingness to travel, and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment including shift and on-call rotations. The position includes a base hourly salary of $21.50–$30.75 and a transportation allowance, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and the PDIF new-hire class.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Meet and exceed customer demands with efficient, responsive field maintenance.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians and escalate issues as needed.
