Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE in Toledo, OH is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install, configure, and commission medical devices, lead installation teams, and train customers. You will manage Level I responsibilities while mentoring juniors and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires hands-on electrical and telecommunications expertise, experience with nurse call, access control, and video surveillance systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a related field or construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high and/or low voltage).
• Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience.
• Basic telecommunications knowledge (TCP/IP, general networking, computers, VoIP, etc.).
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Team management/supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute Level I installer duties and follow documentation to ensure quality.
• Manage project/service tickets with timely updates.
• Lead and mentor installation teams; delegate tasks.
• Maintain communication with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers.
• Perform FAT testing and system commissioning to ensure quality and reliability.
