Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician II. The role involves advanced technical maintenance, repair, and support on equipment, with strong focus on troubleshooting and mentoring junior technicians.

You will install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify products, and provide onsite customer training. The position supports SNC's IAS business area in ISR, aviation and security, requiring travel to remote locations worldwide and compliance with DoD requirements.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; degree may substitute for experience.
• 1+ years of technician experience; relevant degree may substitute.
• Understanding of schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals or similar publications.
• Experience with troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring concepts.
• Willingness to travel outside continental US; extended deployments (OCONUS).
• Ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance.

• Provide technical support to SNC customers for field units.
• Document customer interactions and implement hardware/software/training changes as instructed.
• Travel to remote locations worldwide with short notice.
