Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician II to provide advanced maintenance, repair, and support on equipment, including onsite training for customers. The role involves diagnosing complex issues, mentoring junior techs, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve product performance.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining products, documenting interactions, and traveling internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience as a technician or in a related field.
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience.
• Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
• Experience using troubleshooting techniques.
• Understanding of electrical wiring concepts.
• Willing to travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods.
• Must obtain/hold current US government security clearance.
• Ability to deploy for extended amounts of time to various locations.
• Passport and visa eligibility for international travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to SNC customers for field units.
• Document all customer interactions and implement changes as per SNC instructions.
• Punctuality to work and readiness for scheduled hours.
• Travel to remote locations worldwide with short notice.
• Perform maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
• Follow shift lead supervisor guidance for daily priorities.
