Texas First Rentals seeks a Field Service Technician II to provide face‑to‑face service at an off‑site location, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and recondition a range of light and heavy industrial equipment. The role involves mentoring teammates, preparing service reports, and maintaining proper customer records.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of safe work procedures and practices.
• Understands equipment and tools, their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
• Intermediate knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, engines, undercarriage, and electrical systems.
• Proficient with computer software and machine electronic systems.
• Excellent customer service skills and clear communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Models and promotes values-based leadership in daily work.
• Performs intermediate repairs and offsite troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
• Removes/install parts and disassembles/assembles components to CAT specs.
• Tests and verifies repairs; maintains customer records and writes service reports.
• Mentors other technicians and participates in quotes for work orders.
