Job summary

Texas First Rentals in Texas is seeking a Field Service Technician I to provide face-to-face customer service at an off-site location and perform minor troubleshooting, repair, and reconditioning of rental equipment.

The role requires safe work practices, ability to operate cranes/forklifts, and driving with a valid CDL. Travel with overnight stays may be required; you will complete training paths and maintain accurate service records.

Qualifications

• More than one year of heavy equipment experience required; three or more years preferred.
• MSHA certification preferred.
• Air conditioning certification preferred.
• Crane/Rigger certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repairs and troubleshooting offsite with minimal supervision
• Removes and installs parts, disassembles and assembles basic components
• Tests and verifies proper operation of all repairs
• Maintains service records and inputs data into required databases
• Operates equipment and vehicles with required licenses and certifications
• Travels as needed, including overnight stays
