Job summary

Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I-III to perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on natural gas compression fleets across the assigned region.

The role requires troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, adhering to HSE standards, and collaborating with field and manufacturing teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The position emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and professional conduct in a field environment.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Background check, drug screening, MVR check and DOT physical required.
• Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines.
• Experience as a shop mechanic or field service technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on natural gas compression equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across assigned region.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and field teams to satisfy customer needs.
• Adhere to HSE policies and report safety incidents.
• Complete necessary documentation and training as directed.
• Demonstrate leadership and professional image in the field.
