Job summary

Natural Gas Services Group is seeking Field Service Technician I–III to service and maintain natural gas compression rental fleet equipment across the assigned region. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform maintenance and overhauls, and uphold HSE policies while collaborating with field teams.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on problem solving, and continuous improvement. Travel to field locations is required; strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work

Qualifications

• Experience as a shop mechanic or field service technician.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with teams, vendors, and personnel.
• Positive, can-do attitude with strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• Effective time-management skills and demonstrated ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

• Champion and enforce all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Perform skilled tasks including maintenance, repairs, and overhauls as directed by supervision.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose natural gas compressor system failures.
• Optimize compression equipment performance.
• Stay current with natural gas compressor and engine theory and maintenance.
