Job summary

NCR Atleos is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self-checkout systems within an assigned territory. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude and customer-facing skills.

You will undergo comprehensive on-the-job and classroom training to build a long-term career in a high-impact, field-based role with opportunities for overnight travel and territory expansion as needed.

Qualifications

• Local candidate for the geographic area.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company fleet requirements.
• PC skills and basic electronic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.
• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.
• Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible.
• Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution.
• Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos.
• Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving requirements.
• Perform other related duties consistent with qualifications and business needs.
• May be reassigned to adjacent service territories during standard shifts to meet operational needs; managers will strive to communicate in advance whenever possible to minimize schedule disruptions.
• May elect to participate in overnight travel assignments to support broader service coverage; all travel follows established company policy and reimbursement guidelines.
