Job summary

Baker Hughes seeks a Field Specialist II to provide on-site technical service, manage field jobs and coordinate with customers and third-party providers. You will work with electrical systems up to 5,000 volts, maintain equipment readiness, and ensure safety and quality in diverse field environments.

You will travel as needed, stay near customer sites, and uphold strong customer relationships while following company safety procedures and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in field operations, electrical service, maintenance or related technical environment.
• Experience interacting directly with customers and supporting field-based operations.
• Ability to safely work with electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel and stay away from home as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned jobs and ensure arrival at customer locations at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled service time.
• Coordinate with customers and third-party service providers on-site.
• Maintain field equipment readiness and ensure materials/tools are available for service activities.
• Follow company processes, safety requirements and HSE standards.
• Support successful job execution and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Communicate job status and operational needs with customers, supervisors and internal teams.
