Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist II to deliver on-site technical services and support diverse field operations. You will manage jobs, coordinate with customers and third parties, and ensure equipment readiness while adhering to safety requirements.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, field operations experience, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Travel may be required to support customer service needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in field operations, electrical service, maintenance, or related technical environment.
• Experience interacting directly with customers and supporting field operations.
• Ability to safely work with electrical systems and equipment.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned jobs and ensure arrival at customer locations at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled time.
• Identify customer locations and prepare for field assignments.
• Work with customers and third-party personnel on-site.
• Support field operations including overnight travel near customer sites.
• Maintain readiness of field equipment, inventory, and tools.
• Follow safety procedures and company processes at all times.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and effective communication of job status.
• Comply with HSE standards.
