Job summary

Baker Hughes in Hobbs, NM is seeking a Field Specialist II to deliver on-site technical service and ensure customer requirements are met safely and efficiently. You will manage assigned jobs, coordinate with customers and third-party providers, and maintain field equipment readiness.

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, safe operation of electrical systems up to 5,000 volts, effective communication with customers and teams, and willingness to travel and stay near sites as needed to

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in field operations, electrical service, or related technical environment.
Experience interacting directly with customers and supporting field-based operations.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned jobs and arrive at customer locations at least 30 minutes before service time.
Identify customer locations and prepare for field assignments.
Work with customers and third-party personnel on-site.
Travel and stay near customer sites as needed for service delivery.
Safely operate electrical systems and equipment up to 5,000 volts.
Maintain truck inventory and ensure materials and tools are available for activities.
Follow safety procedures and company processes at all times.
Support successful job execution with high customer satisfaction.
Communicate status and needs with customers and teams.
Comply with HSE standards.
