Job summary

Hach is seeking a Field Service Technician I in Evansville, IN. You will deliver high-quality customer service, perform preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and calibrations on Hach devices at customer sites in municipal and industrial settings.

The role requires daily travel within a 2-hour radius, with 65–75% overnight stays. A HS diploma is required; associates/technical degree preferred. Benefits start on day one, plus a company car and cell phone.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
• Experience in field service or customer-facing roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation.
• Promote a positive customer experience and serve as on-site contact for technical issues.
• Work in municipal and industrial settings, including water treatment facilities and plants.
• Submit prompt service reports affecting billing and instrument history.
