Job summary

Hach, a Veralto company, is hiring a Field Service Technician I in Riverside, CA. You will deliver high-quality customer service, perform preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration/verification of instrumentation at customer sites.

This role requires a HS diploma (associates preferred), mechanical aptitude, and 2+ years field service or customer-facing experience. Daily travel within the region is expected, with company-paid travel and benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; Associates/technical degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude is a must - experience with preventive maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair.
• 2+ years of field service experience and/or customer-facing roles preferred.
• This position requires occasional rental of vehicles or booking of hotel rooms for business travel.
• A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to rent a car and/ or hotel rooms under applicable state law are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation at customer sites.
• Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.
• Work in municipal and industrial settings including water/wastewater facilities, refineries, and food & beverage plants.
• Submit accurate service reports affecting billing, inventory, and instrument history.
• Follow safe work practices per company policy.
• Perform administrative tasks to support service visits.
• Daily travel within the territory from Riverside, CA; company-paid travel, accommodations, and meals for overnight stays.
