Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver on-site maintenance and exceptional customer experiences across Canon-supported products. You will report to management on failure trends and serviceability, and travel to customer sites as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic internet understanding, PDIF training, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. A valid driver's license and compliance with customer security requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Possess a basic understanding of internet environments and complete the 120-day PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record).
• Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
• Provide Field/Shop/on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
• Maintain technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
• Contribute to branch/district metric targets.
