Job summary

ASTEC is looking for a Field Service Technician to ensure proper installation and operation of their products. The role requires extensive travel, performing installations, and providing training. You will work closely with engineering and support teams.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, experience in related fields, and strong communication skills. You will need knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanical designs, and must be willing to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years’ experience in construction, manufacturing, or related fields.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally.
• Ability to weld and knowledge of steel fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation under the direction of more experienced employees.
• Conduct operator skills training for customer employees.
• Generate written field service reports.

Knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits
