HIAB USA, Inc. is seeking a field service technician to perform preventive maintenance, safety checks and refurbishments on equipment at assigned Hiab locations in line with management instructions.

The role requires 3+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical experience, plus a valid driver’s license and a 1-year DOT medical card. You will travel locally, complete safety and training courses, and document service actions with precision.

Qualifications

• 1-year DOT Medical Card required
• Valid Driver’s License required; check driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations
• Own tools required
• Know, understand and comply with Hiab USA, Inc. Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions

Responsabilités

• Inspect, service, and troubleshoot forklifts, knuckle boom cranes, loaders, liftgates, hooklifts, skiploaders and hoists per manager’s instructions.
• Follow safety rules, practices and environmental requirements.
• Stay up to date with technical developments via internal service bulletins and courses.
• Respond to customer queries to maximize satisfaction per Hiab guidelines.
• Keep records, maintain documentation and submit daily reports as directed.
• Recognize sales opportunities and communicate to District Service Manager.
• Coach/tutor junior colleagues and trainees as necessary.
• Conduct yourself to promote Hiab brand and follow the Quality System.
