Job summary

Hiab USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and repairs in Springfield, MO area. You will service forklifts, cranes, loaders and related equipment at customer sites and Hiab locations.

The role requires travel across the Springfield region, a valid driver’s license, and a 1-year DOT medical card. Hiab offers a comprehensive benefits package and sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 1-year DOT Medical Card required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• No more than one moving violation in the last year.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations.
• Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Own tools required.
• 100% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and troubleshoot equipment (forklifts, knuckle boom cranes, loaders, liftgates, hooklifts, skiploaders and hoists) as instructed.
• Follow safety rules, working practices and environmental requirements.
• Stay updated with technical bulletins and complete courses when instructed.
• Respond to customer queries to maximize satisfaction per guidelines.
• Keep records, maintain documentation and submit daily reports.
• Identify sales opportunities and report to District Service Manager.
• Coach/tutor junior colleagues and trainees as necessary.
• Promote Hiab brand and follow the Quality System.
