Job summary

WillScot invites applications for a Field Service Technician to deliver technical expertise and strong customer service while servicing portable buildings in the field. You will troubleshoot, repair, and communicate clearly with clients to minimize downtime.

This role requires carpentry and HVAC capabilities, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. WillScot offers a comprehensive benefits package and room for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience required.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is helpful.
• General contractor’s license is preferred.
• A current valid license and good driving record required.
• HVAC knowledge and licenses as required by law.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Some knowledge of computers is necessary.
• Good communications skills to interact with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Conducting service calls related to HVAC, plumbing and carpentry within the Branch territory.
• Explaining repairs and services to customers courteously, over the phone and in-person.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with client safety standards on-site.
