Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver technical knowledge, customer service and professionalism in the field. You will troubleshoot and service our buildings, on-site within the branch territory, while upholding safety standards and client expectations.

The role emphasizes hands-on carpentry, HVAC, plumbing work and strong communication with customers and team members across locations. A valid driver's license and the ability to work independently are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience required.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is helpful.
• General contractor's license preferred.
• A current valid license and clean driving record required.
• HVAC knowledge and licenses as required by law.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Some knowledge of computers is necessary.
• Strong communication skills with customers, sales, contractors, shop personnel and WillScot employees.

Responsibilities

• Conducting service calls related to HVAC, plumbing and carpentry within the Branch territory.
• Explaining repairs and services to customers courteously, over the phone and in-person.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and practicing safe working habits including complying with client safety standards on-site.
