Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver technical knowledge and customer service while servicing our portable buildings in the field. Join a team focused on safety, reliability and unmatched service across the network.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing and carpentry tasks, explain repairs to customers, and maintain a safe, compliant work site with professional conduct and strong communication with clients and teammates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is helpful.
• General contractor's license preferred.
• A current valid license and good driving record required.
• HVAC knowledge and appropriate licenses if performing HVAC duties.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Some computer knowledge is necessary.
• Good communications skills to interact with customers, salespeople, contractors, shop personnel and WillScot employees.

Responsibilities

• Conducting service calls related to HVAC, plumbing and carpentry within the Branch territory.
• Explaining repairs and services to customers courteously, over the phone and in-person.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and practicing safe working habits including complying with client safety standards on-site.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Carpentry knowledge

Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience helpful

General contractor's license preferred

Current valid license and good driving record

HVAC licenses as required by law

Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment

Good computer literacy
