Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team of professionals. As the face of WillScot to our clients, you will deliver technical knowledge, customer service and professionalism while servicing our modular buildings in the field.

The role involves conducting service calls for HVAC, plumbing and carpentry, explaining repairs to customers, and upholding safety standards on-site. A High School diploma or GED is required; carpentry experience is essential; a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience required.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is helpful.
• General contractor’s license preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment and licenses as required by law.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Some computer knowledge is necessary.
• Good communication with customers, sales people, contractors, shop personnel and WillScot employees.

Responsibilities

• Conducting service calls related to HVAC, plumbing and carpentry within the Branch territory.
• Explaining repairs and services to customers courteously, over the phone and in-person
• Maintaining a safe working environment and practicing safe working habits including complying with client safety standards on-site.
