Job summary

Ascendum USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform timely repairs and maintenance on construction equipment at customer locations. You will repair, service, and operate company tools and trucks while ensuring safety and productivity.

The role requires trade school completion, strong communication with customers, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Up to 100% travel may be required in various environments.

Qualifications

• Trade school completion in appropriate field.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service machinery for complete customer satisfaction.
• Maintain, safely operate, and care for assigned service truck and company owned tools and equipment per company requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all safety training, product training, and service department goals.
• Complete assigned work with minimum re-work.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Properly and safely use Ascendum owned tools and service equipment.
• Order parts and materials through Ascendum Parts to complete work assignments.
• Ensure all company safety requirements are followed at all times.
• Complete all required paperwork and maintain records/photos/other materials as required, for example, time clocking or collection records, SOC reports.
• Leave the working location in an as clean or better condition when job is completed. Follow contamination control procedures.
• Complete all DOT requirements, including physical, medical card and safety regulations.
• Seeks formal and informal performance assessments, including performance versus expectations.
• Actively participates in required training, development programs, and electives as suits one’s needs.
• Respond positively to other duties that may be assigned in the scope of the job.
