Job summary

Ascendum Machinery is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on customer-site construction equipment. You will operate company tools and service trucks, maintain safety and regulatory standards, and ensure high customer satisfaction through effective problem solving and clear communication.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, and diesel engines, and the ability to travel up to 100% as needed.

Qualifications

• Trade school completion in appropriate field.
• Experience communicating with customers and co-workers.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, MSHA).
• Aptitude for repairing, troubleshooting, and servicing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service machinery for complete customer satisfaction.
• Maintain, safely operate, and care for assigned service truck and tools.
• Order parts and materials through Ascendum Parts to complete work.
• Ensure all safety requirements are followed at all times.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain records/photos.
• Perform DOT requirements where applicable.
• Participate in training and development programs as needed.
• Respond to other duties within the scope of the job.
