Job summary

Ascendum USA is seeking a Shop Technician to perform timely repairs and maintenance on construction equipment at the Conway, SC branch. You will work with customers and co-workers to ensure quality workmanship in a shop environment.

Responsibilities include repairing and servicing machinery, maintaining tools, following safety trainings, completing paperwork, and adhering to branch hours. Must have technical training and own tools; willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Technical school completion in appropriate field.
• Knowledge of safe job practices & regulations related to OSHA, MSHA.
• Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a positive manner.
• Aptitude for repairing, troubleshooting, and servicing equipment.
• Above average knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, diesel engines.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Customer-oriented with ability to build relationships.
• Must possess own set of tools for repairing equipment.

• Repair and service machinery for complete customer satisfaction.
• Maintain, safely operate, and care for company-owned tools and equipment.
• Keep up to date with safety training and service department goals.
• Complete assigned work with minimal re-work.
• Order parts and materials to complete work assignments.
• Ensure all safety requirements are followed at all times.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain records/photos as required.
• Maintain shop and yard cleanliness.
• Report unsafe conditions and adhere to supervisor directions.
• Participate in training and development programs as needed.
