Job summary

Ascendum USA is seeking a Shop Technician to perform timely repairs and maintenance on construction equipment within the Ascendum branch shop. You will maintain tools, adhere to safety protocols, and work with customers and co-workers to ensure quality service.

Qualifications include technical school completion and proficiency with MS Office, plus the ability to bring your own tools and meet physical demands. Travel is up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical training required in a relevant field.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, MSHA).
• Aptitude for repairing and servicing equipment.
• Must bring own set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service machinery to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and safely operate company tools and equipment.
• Stay current with safety and product training.
• Complete work with minimal rework.
• Order parts to complete assignments.
• Keep records and paperwork up to date.
• Maintain shop and yard cleanliness.
• Report unsafe conditions promptly.
• Follow supervisor directions and participate in training.
• Support additional duties as needed.
