RPC Company is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers in the Osburn, ID area. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, testing, and demonstrating heavy industrial equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, perform field service calls at customer sites, and ensure safety compliance while delivering detailed service reports and customer guidance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience servicing heavy industrial construction equipment
• Strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting aptitude
• Experience working with pneumatic systems
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience on heavy drilling equipment (preferred)
• Technical School or Trade School Certificate (preferred)
• Equivalent combination of education and 2-5 years of relevant technical experience (preferred)
• OEM dealership or manufacturer service experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy industrial construction equipment
• Perform field service calls at customer job sites
• Inspect, test, and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Install, replace, and adjust equipment components as needed
• Conduct equipment demonstrations and operational testing
• Document service activities and provide detailed service reports
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair recommendations and equipment performance
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
