Job summary

Hiab USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair work in the Pittsburgh, PA area, with travel to Levittown and surrounding locations. The role requires hands-on service on forklifts, cranes, loaders and related equipment, following manager instructions and safety guidelines.

The candidate should have a High School diploma and 5+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical experience, plus a valid driver’s license and a DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a 1-year DOT Medical Card.
• Valid Driver’s License with minimal violations.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years mechanical, hydraulic and electrical experience.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Own tools required.
• 100% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot forklifts, knuckle boom cranes, loaders, liftgates, hooklifts, skiploaders and hoists as directed.
• Follow safety rules, practices and environmental requirements.
• Stay up to date with technical bulletins and complete training as instructed.
• Respond to customer queries to maximize satisfaction.
• Maintain documentation and submit daily reports as required.
• Recognize sales opportunities and report to District Service Manager.
• Coach junior colleagues and trainees as needed.
• Represent Hiab brand professionally at all times.
