Job summary

Hangcha Forklift America Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician for Rock Hill, SC. This field-based role covers an approximate 3–4 hour radius, delivering hands-on technical support, diagnostics, and dealer training to ensure uptime and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of forklift service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel regularly. This on-site role reports to the National Service Manager and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in diesel technology, industrial equipment, automotive technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of five 5-8 years of experience servicing forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Ability to travel daily within the assigned territory, with occasional overnight travel and short-notice flights.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with dealer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly within an assigned territory to support authorized Hangcha dealers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer service staff and ownership.
• Provide advanced technical diagnostics and hands-on support for Hangcha forklifts.
• Assist dealer technicians with troubleshooting, repairs, and complex equipment issues onsite or by phone.
• Deliver product training and technical guidance to dealer technicians as needed.
• Maintain detailed service reports and dealer visit documentation using company systems.
