Field Service Technician (Jacksonville, FL)

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to service customer truck-mounted equipment in the field. This is a remote position based in Florida, reporting to the Regional Field Service Manager.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform field repairs and troubleshooting of articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, conveyors, trucks, and trailers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, annual DOT inspections, and warranty services according to customer schedules.
• Provide troubleshooting and repairs during scheduled and unscheduled hours.
• Communicate mechanical issues and repair needs to the job site and fleet managers.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, including estimates, work orders, parts, labor, and inventory records.
• Adhere to all safety regulations at the state and federal levels.
• Keep company vehicle, work equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in mechanical, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and welding, with at least 3 years of experience or training in articulating cranes and forklifts.
• Physical ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Capability to sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift over 75 lbs for extended periods.
• Valid CDL driver’s license or willingness to obtain one within 60 days, with a clean driving record.
• Own tools required for the job.
