Job summary

ALWINE SECURITY LLC is seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and testing of commercial fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems.

You will diagnose faults, program panels from major manufacturers, respond to service calls, and train customers on upgrades. A clean driving record and ability to lift 50 lbs are required, with on-site problem solving and customer service a core focus.

Qualifications

Prior experience in security systems or related technical field preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and manuals.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time in the field.
Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug screening.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, access tight spaces.
High school diploma or GED required; technical schooling or associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair system faults, replace defective components, restore operation.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot panels/devices from major manufacturers.
Respond to service calls and emergency repairs promptly.
Provide on-site customer training and post‑repair support.
Complete service reports, test docs, and inventory logs on time.
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and test equipment in good condition.
